It was Paul. If you really can tell the diffrence between John and Paul's voices then you'll know without a doubt Its Paul singing it. Just listen to this...
If you know Paul's voice then you'll definately know it was Paul after hearing that.
Heres some more proof. In the video of "A day in the life" they switch things over to what Paul is doing when they get to his part of the song. Then when they get to the "aaahhhh's" they stay on Paul while he is conducting the orchestra. Not once did they show John during his part. Then when John takes over and sings the final verse, they switch back to him in the Video.
that film is no proof...its a bunch of jumbled frames from more than a few films shot during the sessions.....i supose that he did all the aaaahhs in lucy in the sky too....be cause thats good evidence that it could be john...to me the jurys still out till.....maybe we could seance john.....
Are we watching the same video? I can clearly see Paul in almost every shot in his part of the song. I can also see him conducting the orchestra durning the "aaahhh" and then I can clearly see it switch back to John talking to George Martin when John starts singing again. I know its not strong evidence, but everyone should clearly be able to see that the first part of the video where John sings is mostly footage of what Johns doing, then when Paul's part comes, they show what Paul is doing including the "aaahhh", then they switch back to John when he starts singing. Obviously they are showing the respective singer during his part of the song. Plus...the first link should be obvious to everyone that Paul is doing the "aaahhh"...If you know Paul's voice then you know its Paul singing.
Hehe yeah, it might have been Mike Nesmith But like I said, if you really know Paul's voice then you'll know by that first link who really sang the 'aaahhh's" and it wasn't John.....
