That magazine we've all seen in the "impulse buyers nightmare" Section of the store. Its the Beatles 40th anniversary collectors edition.. Its actually REALLY AWESOME! I was expecting the same ole crap pictures, but there are some really good ones in there. and some fascinating things about them, that I didn't know. And of course the did have alot of the same ole same ole in there too. But it is a really good magazine! Not too loaded up with text. Lots of pictures.

What magazine is that Beatle Ed? Do you think they'd have it here in the UK?

I was at a checkout when my Dad pointed it out to me. Of course, I bought it.
There are a lot of cool pictures and interesting "Beatles Bits."

Yeah, I usually don't have the cash for all these slick anniversary mags that pop up every time another bellweather has been reached.  This time I ponied up the 6 bucks not expecting much, and I too was pleasantly surprised.

If you do see it in your (US anyway) markets, you may want to flip thru it.  It has a LOT of rare photos I had never seen (it says 300 'personal' photos).

There is no info on who the writer(s) were (or the publishers...very generic!), and some of the facts are wrong (typically).  The text won't tell you much you don't already know, but as to the pictures....it's quite nice.

I'm not sure It has a US and Canada price on it. So maybe they dont.

Hehe Washington State.  I think I actually got it though... Im not sure if its the same one though..

It was $5.95 US and $6.95 Canadian.

Don't know about Europe tho.
