Rubber Soul and Revolver have always been my favorite Beatles albums.  For purposes of this poll, I voted for Rubber Soul as it marked a turning point in their career; the departure from stereotypical convention to an introspective experimentation.

I have to agree - The Word is such a fantastic song. The whole story of them writing the lyrics in multicolours is just so typically cool It really does signal the times ahead.
