Any idea what Paul says right at the end of Rocky Raccoon on the White Album? He says "The story of Rocky, bla, bla, bla" but what are the blas? This is a genuine question!I've got an idea but I don't know the answer.

To me, it always sounded like he was about to sing some more, but stopped, for whatever reason and they left it that way because they thought it sounded "unfinished" and it seemed to fit in with the mood of the entire album (several songs sound unfinished or made up on the spot, IMO).

I always get an awkward, uneasy feel... it has a shade of irony..being a dark album, with such a cleansed pre-judgement.
Some of the album is VERY dark, but then again, some of it is very light (Obla Di Obla Da, for example). It's such a sprawling album, it's hard to get a unified mood out of the whole thing, at least for me. Of course, that's what makes it so good, IMO.
i listened to rocky today and was struck by how good the harmonium was played and thought to myself "who plays that?" and could not remember.i thought if its paul then why is he playing it thats john territory.and if it was john did he play willingly? it was john............and paul tied him to a chair....
I'm not sure but, this song seems to get slagged a lot! I think it's because of the old West honky tonk feel! I just love it Paul's voice is awsome in it and you can actually visualize the entire song playing out before your eyes!
