you know what always freaked me out...at the end of i want you(she's so heavy) you've got clapton wailing away and the music sounds like a storm and then it suddenly stops....and then you turn the album over...and its Here Comes the Sun...and its just like there's a sun coming out of a storm...its AMAZING.

i'm fairly sure he did.
Hi Lonelypeople
I did check up on this last night before I posted my reply, and Mark Lewisohn's Beatles' Chronicles book makes no reference to Clapton playing on the track.
hmmm...i'll trust you on that then...i'm misinformed....sorry for posting incorrect information...but the greatness still stands of that moment...those two songs and how they go with each other is incredible.
I think of Abbey Road as one complete album, so it's definitely a tough choice....but I'd go with Something slightly edging out Come Together and Oh Darling.

Something is just a wee...overrated...*picture of me flying a blimp* *board users take out a big bazooka and blows up my blimp* *I get out of ash* *stumbles around* ....ugh...ow....I voted for Oh! Darling....

I wish I could have taught it to my students but these days I would get so much sh** for it due to its violent content. (Damn you political correctness!) So I taught them Octopus' Garden instead...much safer!
