Eh? I meant that in response to John not wanting to talk to his fans. He was real cool about it towards the end. I think if he had been little more cautious about it maybe things would have turned out differently. But then, who would ever think such a thing would happen. I didn't mean it to be a slam against John or anything!!! I'm not sure how you interpreted it.

Yeah, I'm not saying that Lennon wasn't nice, he definitely was to his fans, but I don't think he'd be much for discussion and all....
Oh, I know. I mean, I think he did soften up quite a bit later on though. I think he wasn't so open at the height of the whole Beatle thing. Very complex guy he was!

that was a very cryptic remark Macca. Lets be happy instead
i was just refering to the fact that i was feelin good, but as i read that last line, sadness crept in. I didn't mean much by it, just that it was kind of a joykill. Not that that's a bad thing, its important to remember.

I was talking to someone on PC's chat site from his Moondog's forum who had met John several times and spoke with him. Once at a talk show taping, she handed him a letter and he recognized the handwrithing because she had wrote him so much. She talked with him about Yoko's art (Yoko was there too) and then later on the talk show John talked about how a student he had been speaking with was studying Yoko's art. (in reference to her). She also kissed him during all this. So i'd say he was pretty cool to his fans. She also kissed Ringo's hand. I wish i could remember more about what she said about her exchange with John.
Well you know you're right. I wan't trying to quote him either! Bummer thinking about it as in it bums you out. Not that it happened. I would say that was tragic and devastating.
Although I always say I would do anything to hang out with Ringo (and I would), when I seriously contemplate it, I would most like to meet Paul.
I think John and George would be amazing to talk to (they're just such inspirational people) but I just picture Paul as being really open and kind of rambling on and on about any questions I ask. I think he's changed my life the most out of any individual musician, and I'd just like to thank him, ask him questions about how he writes music, and generally have him acknowledge my existence for a fleeting moment!
I agree with Missy, Paul would definitely be the most open. But I'm sure John and George would have some interesting things to say, as well. I can see myself getting along well with George. he just seems really nice, and he reminds me of my dad.
You're so vain, you probably think this post is about you.
