^That's a great scene. I love it when the entire city bursts into Beethoven's 9th to save Ringo from the tiger.

I once heard a reviewer say A Hard Days Night is a great film because it is in black and white.

Ha! It captures the era better in black and white, I think. Whenever I think of that period it's always with thoughs of classic British movies of the time, always in black and white. AHDN would not be right in colour.

It definately gives it that documentary feel, which makes it feel much more authentic than the normal glossy star vehicles rock movies tended to be in those days. Imagine if they'd gone the Elvis/Cliff route and had the band play characters. I think the whole concept was a stroke of genius and fundamental in creating the whole JPG&R thing, which so aided their climb to fame. Blah blah blah.

I voted for Help! - I love this movie. It's so funny and all the characters are so great. I love the dialogues, and Help! and You've Got To Hide Your Love Away are among my favourite songs. Whenever I'm stressed or sad, I just watch Help! and it takes me on this humorous, light-hearted adventure

Hehe, yeah, when my sister and I watched it for the first time, we laughed so hard during the "toilet scene"! And we still do! Whoosh, no sleeve. Whoosh, the entire shirt disappears, (but the collar stays!)

I also really like the Ticket to Ride scene... Ringo having an argument with his miniature snowman... awww!   And the You've Got To Hide Your Love Away/fight scene part is also great.

By the way, AHDN comes an extremely close second place (love this movie too), then Yellow Submarine, then MMT. I haven't seen Let It Be Yet...

I'd ask my friends to come and see... an Octopus's Garden with me ^___^

A Hard Day's Night is just so classic early Beatles. I love it to death. Help! was very funny as well, but the plot made it more silly, less realistic from how they would actually behave, I think, and I've heard it said in many places that they enjoyed doing AHDN more.

Help followed by AHDN

I love how Help is a bit more surreal but not alienating like Magical Mystery Tour which I really don't get at all!

I also think they all look amazing in 'Help'

but then they do in AHDN too

Well, Help makes me laugh more

But every so often you come across something truly inspiring...

Never seen Magical Mystery Tour or Yellow Submarine (I hope not, I enjoy my Subway sandwiches!)

But judging by what I have seen, I like Help! the best.

One thing I liked about the extras included in the AHDN DVD was the entire first draft of the movie, it was interesting to read.
