Better than the Beatle's version, ah that hurts me eyes
Seriously though, I've been considering the purchase.

which means?
HMV = His Master's Voice - it used to be a record label (might still be!) but is now a big chain of record shops. The Beatles were indirectly introduced to George Martin via the publishing department in HMV, Oxford Street, London in 1962.
I have it on DVD. it's okay. I like the songs but I don't like it that there song by other people. they sound weird. ther is no way that there better then the origionals.
The Concert For George is one of the great rock concerts ever. Everyone is on their game, the show is brilliantly paced, the atmosphere is joyous/moving/nostalgic.
You don't listen to these songs to compare with the orginals. You listen because there's a band up there playing here and now, live.A band helping to contribute to a celebration of a life.
So even if the euros/dollars/pounds/rupees hurt, I urge everyone to get this DVD set. A wonderful concert.

Is that what it stands for? We have HMVs here but I rarely buy cds from there because they're expensive.
