Stu was cool looking in the very early years.
Then in the 62/64 period I think John and Paul
And from 65 to 69 George Harrison (sorry Ringo )

No, he was the most popular.  Young girls felt safer with him, other girls wanted to mother him.

From this vantage point one might think it was just a joke, but it wasn't.  He was indeed the most popular for that sort of fan attention.

I must agree - but more politely!!! If you compare examples the examples we have where the two drummers playing the same song (Money, Besame Mucho, Love Me Do etc), it's obvious Ringo was the more accomplished drummer. Pete was weaker, used WAY too many fills and couldn't hold down a steady beat.

It was bad the way he was shafted, but the band clicked as soon as Ringo joined.

I got mixed up and thought it was stue. No stue was kicked out because he wasn't good. Stue sucked so he left.

Stu wasn't kicked out - he may have been pressured out though. Either way, he quit to continue his Art studies in Hamburg.

Pete was asked to leave. George Martin did not think he was a good enough drummer. He even sued the Beatles for firing him! John mentions it in an interview.  But of course at the time the press was given the 'we all agreed to it' story! Big bummer for Pete anyway!
