You would think aids is the only disease that has ever existed on the planet listening to the mainstream media because of the gay community having such an impact in Hollywood & in the news media that it's PATHETIC because my mother has MS which never seems to get too much attention in the media despite legendary comedian Richard Pryor having it while aids has been heard about every single day for over 20 years now due to the strong arm tactics of the gay community & their radical activists in Hollywood & Washington while other diseases get thrown under the rug because they're not cool enough.

I really understand your frustration. Just because AIDS has affected a few celebrities it gets all the media attention. The thing is ANY disease that affects so many innocent people deserves better media coverage.
It must be awful for you Wayne, and you have my very deepest symapthies. My friend also has MS and is now wheel-chair bound - it's hard seeing him getting a little worse each month. I can't begin to imagine how hard that is when it's your Mother.
I've never thought of it as the only diseases. the schools tell us about the others and i don't usually waatch arch liberal media often anyway. i try and watch consevitive media even though it's hard to find.
I agree that other diseases are ignored and it's awful. My dad's friend has MS and I totally understand, it pisses me off too. I never thought about it, but it isn't fair! ...however I'm very supportive of gays overcoming all the mess they get. Hopefully this immature homophobia that too many people have will dwindle as racism has. People need to open their eyes
Do not believe anything you hear through a mainstream media outlet. AIDS is a lifestyle disease, not something contracted through sex....Just like cancer. It is a disease of the immune system. That is why people who get it do tons of drugs i.e. gay people or have extreme malnutrition i.e. entire country of Africa. Think about it...this disease didn't pop up until 20+ years - why? Because the type of drugs that can cause it weren't being used until the 60's.
It is amazing how blind people can be...believing in any and everything the media feeds them. The lies that surround AIDS are there for one simple reason...Money! Same thing that drives all the other mass-corruptions of man.
MS is a real disease and it is a horrible thing, but it can be cured. The problem is that the drug companies fund all the research for all the major diseases...and they aren't concerned in finding a cure. They just want to find ways to allow people to live with the diseases so they can continue to make billions and billions of dollars a year by selling their drugs.
This is not a conspiracy theory. This is accurate information.
The really sad thing is that most of the drugs people take for AIDS and other diseases actually cripple their bodies nature healing powers, which in turn keeps them sick and dependant on the drugs...it is a vicious cycle!!

I don't care what gays & lesbians do in their private lives since I'm not attacking them personally but the extreme gay activists in Hollywood & their strong arm tactics is insulting to say the least because you would think Aids is the only disease on the planet from the media when it's not as in MS, MD & CF just to name a few.

I dont think being gay has anything to do with aids. I bet more straight people have aids then gays. I personally believe there are more heterosexual sluts out there then gay sluts and more heterosexual druggies then gay ones. (I know those arnt the only ways to get it as well)
I think aids gets the most talked about because there are so many that have it and the number of people having it is going up every year. In my school there are 800 kids. 7 of them have aids. Doesn't seem like a lot but when you look at the fact I have such a small town and these kids are all under 18...well I think it is a lot.
I am sorry for your mother and I do think her disease as well as many others should be focused on more but I don't think aids is being focused on just because of gay people. I also really agree with JWL on the whole money issue.

I disagree. I have the best immune sytem of anybody i know and i'm not gay. I might be a little by though.
