As part of a legal deposition for Apple Corps against the producers of the Beatlemania stage show, John states today that: "I and the three other former Beatles have plans to stage a reunion concert," an event to be filmed and included as the finale to The Long And Winding Road, an official Beatles produced documentary to be released in the mid-Eighties. (John's deposition will not be made public until the case is settled on June 4, 1986[...]. "
I just wanted to say that there was a legal thing but John said more than they still wanted to use the name of the group ...
Gotcha. I meant that John's statement was made at the behest of a lawyer to assist in a damages courtcase and might not have represented the true situation. It may have represented a possible hope than a definate plan (Stan). I'm very anti THE MAN today.

I'm glad they didn't reunite. They Beatles remain fine as they were when they broke up. Plus, it puts them above all of the reunion hype that goes on these days. What band hasn't had a reunion tour or album recently? The Beatles finished and they remained finished. It's best that way.

It woundn't work twice! Even if Lennon didn't die i think they woundn't have got together. They may have made a record but no way touring! I don't think George would have gone with it!
HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY TO THE WHITE ALBUM! you say its your birthday!
