Well, the ideas Roger expresses about war are very poignant, mainly because of how depressing they are. The effects on Clegg's mind are, to me at least, an illustration of how war can change a man.

Definintley! Dave really comes into his own for the first time, here! Its fantastic, full of these great riffs from him where he just totally cuts loose! Also, Roger's writing takes a step up, and as you go down the line of songs you can even begin to see Dark Side take shape. Its really the first album by The Floyd most people know!
