A couple more from the same event one with Alvin Stardust on. Bolan would be killed in a car crash a few months later on 16th September 1977.

Many years ago I was walking aimlessly in South London and came across the tree that killed him. Quite a spooky place - fans have left a myriad of little trinkets and notes attached to the branches. Don't know if it or they are still there.

Yes their still their Kevin ,it's been a place of pilgramage for Bolan fans since the accident ,i will be their myself in September as it's the 30th anniversary of Bolan's death.
Over the years fan's have worked to make the site a place of peace and reflection it's now an offical Rock shrine.
