I was impressed by his talent when he was a small kid (tho I didn't much care for the music).  I like a few of the J5 songs.

Then the album before Thriller had a song I think I like.  Thriller had a few of them.  Black & White is the last thing I heard from him I liked.

As to him personally, he has always carried the bizarre bit way too far, perhaps criminally.

I was a fan when I was seven years old. I liked Thriller. I had his album Dangerous when I was in grade nine. Now, I can't stand him.
