Let It Be is way better than their early albums. I vote for Sgt. Pepper's, The White Album, and Abbey Road. I don't have TWA and AR yet, but I have MP3's of Abbey Road and I've heard The White Album. I haven't heard much of Rubber Soul and Revolver yet.

The White Album, Abbey Road & Let It Be are my three favorite Beatles albums from my favorite era of the band during the late 60's because they are more hard edge rock than pop or psychedelic like their previous ones.

From the Opening Drive My Car, to the Indian Fuelled Norwegian Wood, Rubber Soul boasts Lyrical content that penetrates the smoke Screen of thier past aura, and lets the listener enjoy the Hazy mood of Rubber-Soul.
Harrisons Song-Writing talent Shines through, and the Peace and Love culture of later years is glimpsed through The Word.
Auto-Biographical songs such as Michelle and In My Life are instant classics, and even Ringo's What Goes on* is enjoyable and light.

interesting........  what about Paperback Writer?  I'd say that was slightly ahead of it's time in terms of hard edged rock, as opposed to pop.

the Beatles were artsy fartsy from the onset. they only did 'Pop' at first by accident. and then, for the red green blue electric dollar.

I don't think they made a bad record ever. it was all good. And it got better with time. Not too many singing groups or bands can say that.
