Sean's last album (Friendly Fire) sounds mature and I admit that it's a surprize to me ... Julian has got talent, so I wish he released more songs in the future ...

Friendly Fire is a cinematic suite of songs. Sean Lennon's new work shares a wealth of musical styles but eschews some of its free form tendencies for more traditional song structure and some unifying themes. Sean's latest effort is an experiment to see what it might be like to do music more publicly again.

"There was a long period after my first album where I felt disillusioned with the machinery of the industry" says Sean. "It’s not that I stopped recording, playing and performing. I did all of those things, just more discreetly."
