Have they ever made a good one? I just saw one called In His Life The John Lennon Story and it was TERRIBLE! And the same goes for Backbeat. Why do they get people that look absolutley nothing like them? It's not like these are great actors they're getting so they may as well try and create an illusion!! Then they have some horrible people singing the soundtrack. Again, nothing like the real guys. It's wierd they can't come out with one decent Beatle flick. I wish Steven Speilberg was a fan. Also, is there no movie that includes their later years? They all seem to end just when they are getting famous and they all seem to focus on John. I know why, but there are three other Beatles. Ringo isn't even in Backbeat! Are there any Beatles movies out there that you all recomend or is this it? Sheesh!!

Strangely enough - Spielberg was responsible for the Seventies teen film "I Wanna hold Your Hand" - set around The Beatles first US trip in 1964, it revolves around a group of kids who're trying to break into The Beatles' hotel to get to see them! Roll on ET!

I saw that one when I was a kid. I liked it then because I could relate to it! And it didn't show the Beatles so there were no bad imitations to complain about! (Just their voices right?) I didn't know Speilberg had anything to do with it though! I wish he'd try again.
