Hmmm yes Joe Karlosi - those would be the songs that I think of when talking about the beatles - but when I think Yesterday I think Paul McCartney... but I still think it's the most well known
Hey, it's a thingy! A fiendish thingy! A Beginning

Well, when I was little and first getting into the Beatles, the first (and probably only) song I knew of theirs was "I Wanna Hold Your Hand"... I don't think I knew of "Yesterday" until I heard it on Help! or saw Paul perform it on one of the anthologies...
Another pretty well-known song is "With a Little Help from my Friends," used for the opening credits of "The Wonder Years," etc...
Sorry to be getting off-topic, but a friend of mine who likes WALHFMF didn't even know it was a Beatle song until I told her!
"I see the sun again, I ain't ever lookin' back, All the dreams are comin' true as I think of you, Now there's nothing in the way to stop me heading for the light."
Yellow Submarine is their most indentifiable song. Yesterday is their most covered and recorded song. I Want To Hold Your Hand is their most sold song. Hey Jude is their most successful song. Let It Be is their most memorable song.
I think it's a tie between those. Yellow Submarine, Yesterday, I Want To Hold Your Hand, Hey Jude or Let It Be.
Yesterday, Yellow Submarine, She Loves You -- this kid in one of my classes always mentions that when the Beatles are even vaguely mentioned. XD "... that wasn't their only song." "It WASN'T? *wtf*"
Things they do look awful c-c-cold... yeah,I hope I die before I get old.
When I first saw this question the song I thought of first was Hey Jude.
Their biggest single in terms of sales, and their biggest single in terms of #1 in so many different countries around the world. It was also monumental in that it was a very long single at over 7 minutes.
Yesterday came to mind second. Most played on the radio, most covered....
