You lift up my spirits, you shine on my soul, whenever I'm empty, you make me feel whole. I can rely on you, to guide me through any situation.
You hold up a sign that reads: "follow me."
You give me directions, you show me the way, you give me a reason to face every day. I can depend on you, to send me to, any destination.
You hold up a sign that reads: "follow me, follow me."
Down the track of loneliness, down the path of love, Through the words of heartache to the end. On the shores of sorrow where the waves of hope crash in. The perfect place for me to find a friend,
ahh, yeah-yeah-yeah, waah-whoa-oh...
You lead to me to that places i've never been uncovering secrets that i've never seen, I can rely on you, to guide me through, any situation.
You hold up a sign that reads: "follow me, follow me, follow me, follow me-ee, follow me, follow me-ee."
Well, I don't think Paul really ever sounds that great live.....he tends to get lazy in concert with the vocals....good tune though, about on par with his recent efforts, which were quite good.

i dont think he gets lazy, i just think he gets tired. I mean he's been giong nearly nonstop for almost forty years. Maybe his vocal chords are getting worn out.
I think his voice is much weaker than it used to be that's for sure. But I think that happens to everyone as they age. Elton John sounds completely different and Roger Daltrey can't hit certain notes like he used to. Mick Jagger sounds almost the same though! By the way, did something happen to Elton John's voice in the 80's? Like an operation or something? I sort of remember hearing something like that.

Mick's voice is remarkably unchanged you're right. Listen to him on Dont Stop, he sounds the same as he did 30 years ago. I saw him in cancert and he and Keith ruled.
Yup, Mick has still got a young voice as well as a young mind. That's why he keeps messing with all those 20 year old models. Yuck. Too bad he looks like the oldest man alive though. (Except for Keith that is).
