Let It Be was better than Zeppelin's III, Coda, Disc Two of Physical Graffiti, In Through the Out Door and Presence.....and that was The Beatle's WORST.....don't see how it could ever be close..

It wasn't the worst. The early albums are the worst. Led Zeppelin III and Physical Graffiti are waaay better than Let it Be.

I love Beatles For Sale!  And every Led Zeppelin album.  I can't believe anyone could call themselves a Led Zeppelin fan and not like Led ZeppelinIII, or Physical Graffiti.

And this isn't a pointless thread.  On a couple of the Zeppelin boards I belong too, we've had these discussions and sometimes the Beatles come out on top.

Zeppelin III has some great tunes, but a lot of it doesn't make an impact with me. And I really don't like anything on the second Graffiti disc....all filler to these ears.

Led Zeppelin didn't write filler.  Every Led Zeppelin song is a masterpiece.  And There's many songs on the second Physical Grafitti disk that I love!  In the Light, Bron-Yr-Aur, Ten Years Gone, The Wanton Song, Boogie With Stu, Black Country Woman, and Sick Again.  All classic Led Zeppelin at their very best!

A pop-based band vs. a blues/folk based band.  There is no comparison. They were both giants in their own times and fields.

And I like 'em both...but at different times and for different moods.

They do?  Really?  That's weird, because the last time I listened to all those songs they were still awesome.  I guess they must have changed in the last few days.  Oh well.  I'll listen to them all today sometime and see if they've changed so that they suck now like you say.

There's polls like this constantly over at led-zeppelin.org.  There's always some very ugly things said about the Beatles too.  I haven't been to that forum in awhile though since it was shut down and came back online.  There's much better Zeppelin forums to visit.
