It's a recording of the Tony Sheridan sessions - 1961.

It's titled Rock Legends - The Beatles

Do you guys know anything about it? how much it is worth/how rare it is?

I forgot to mention, on another site it says this was their first professional recording.

It says it is recorded in Hamburg, by the way.

on it are they backing Sheridan or doing their own recording?  (there's records with both)

I really don't know. My dad threw out the turntable when we went all CD, and I only just found this.

Under the track listing on the back it says "featuring Tony Sheridan and Guests."

Is that any help?

from the looks of the tracks I'd say its a mix of lead vocalists (Sheridan/Beatles).  I'm really not the person to ask, there are some people here who know loads more about these early recordings than me.  If you see PC31 or Bruno or The End around ask them, they know this stuff.  Sorry I can't be of any more help

yeah, that's the Tony Sheridan album featuring 'The Beat Brothers' (actually The Beatles), however it's not the original one from 1961, I mean the songs are the same but this looks like an album released after The Beatles made it big. You can easily tell that by the cover.

There are a lot of albums/bootlegs out there with the same tracks, I have a bootleg called 'Beatles Early Tapes' and it's the same one.

I'm not sure about the value of your vinyl though, I don't think it's worth much

Does anyone know the exact cound of these Sheridan/Beatles albums? Different labels must've released the same material a hundred times over.
