Mainly the Lennon glasses I suppose if any. They did have some shades aswell. Not as important as we got our look. Shall post up a pic when I get them back.
Had the best gig ever.!!!

We certainly are! He's been John and I've been Paul. lol! Been asked to play again. Might travel with it. It certainly was good. Just have to consider our direction with it.

;Nice one! Whats your set-list. Whats your fave to play? Listening back to the gig it still has to be the Abbey Rd. Medley although I enjoyed all of it. Taxman is always fun and Helter Skelter. Don't Let Me Down with a rhodes kicks a** too. I think we're bigger than the town mayor now anyway.

well I'll give you some of the ones we normally play at "concerts".  I'm not sure spearheading the community centers "young musicians nite" counts as a concert but they let us play for a very long time (nobody else wanted to go).  Here are the Beatles or solo selctions we did

Get Back (we always open with that)
Twist and Shout
I Will
Taxman (you're right this song is so much fun to play)
Here comes the Sun (how could I not play this )
Two of Us
I've Got a Feeling (this is my fav to play.  I do the John stuff, our lead guitarist does the Paul.  So much fun)
For No One (featuring one of our friends who plays trumpet.  Close enough eh,)
I'm So Tired
Back in the USSR
Let it Be- I love this one because its just me and the piano for lots, then the awesome solo on guitar.
Imagine-Another great one for piano.  Also we modified it and put a guitar break in

Encore (not really an encore so much as maneagement giving us the "stretch it out" sign
Hey Jude

Other non-Beatles songs we do include clapton's Wonderul Tonight and Next Time You See her, as well as Layla.  Tons of Dave Matthews songs.  Stairway to Heaven.  Sympathy for the Devil (funny story bout this one.  We were playing a pretty Christian like youth group center and we did this.  They took offense and threw us out.  But they had nobody else to come back on, so the director had to crawl back to us outside and ask us to come back.  We made up for it by playing My Sweet Lord).

I play keyboards, bass, rythm guitar, or percussion depending on what the song requires.  I sing lead vocals on about half.  Obviously we cant do Beatles stuff every time, but generally we get about 7 beatles tunes in.  The concert abovewas an exception as I had won a bet and whoever won got to pick out the setlist.  Hehehe

For no-one with trumpet.!! Very nice indeed. Covered that in a duo I sometimes do with Mr Kite. Unfortuneately no trumpet but what a tune to do.

I've Got a Feelin is probably my fave to play too (Besides Mr. Mustard-The End). Infact, all the songs there I'd love to do with the exception of Imagine. Amazing, popular tune but overdone for me.

Bet you love the harmonies in I'm So Tired....Love to do that. Might have to soon. Mr Kite and I do some more stuff like Only Sleeping, Gotta get You Into My Life, And I Love Her, Things We Said Today, If I Fell, I'll Be Back, Fool On The Hill, Oh Darling. The full band list is somewhere else on this forum. Can't remember where I posted it but it's got apple beatle set-list there somewhere in the title.

Also do a Hendrix band and a soul duo(Marvin Gaye, Al Green) and another mixed bag duo (Van Morrison, Police, Paul Weller, Bob marley etc.) I mainly sing with bass but do a little guitaring too. Did start on drums but gave that up many moons ago. Now running nice little studio and working on a small indie record label.

Good luck to you man. Nice chattin, keep it LIVE!!!!!! Love it!!!!!!!
