I wonder if anyone has the whole thing.........I know they filmed it all, so it may be possible.....obviously, there are bootlegs like the one above with the whole concert in audio...
I must say, it was the only part of Let It Be that I enjoyed. |

Why'd they play some songs twice?
I think they did this because they knew some of the performances on the rooftop were going to be the album masters. so they wanted to get them right. The Let It Be album versions of Don't Let Me Down (b-side), I've Got a Feeling, One after 909, and Dig A Pony are all from this performance. the single version of Get Back was included on the album rather than one of the rooftop performances |

1-WHEN You here GET BACK 1 was an open of the concert & #2 was more of repise #3 the other was a close of the concert!
Now when you hear Don't let me down! 1 John forgot the words & they did a second to get it right on film!
I saw a buch of songs listed that they played inside only--Those did not happen like that!!!!
Here is the Roof top & I have on film as such--

How come so many repeats? For a show that lasted about 34 minutes, how come they were so limited?
Some songs are just rehearsals. They needed stuff to flesh out the film and album, and these are the songs that they'd rehearsed previously. They couldn't do any acoustic, or piano numbers on the roof, so this was it. For instance Don't Let Me Down was repeated because John fluffed his lines the first time. Then he fluffed them again! |
