Rather than do a Fav. This/Fav. That poll, I'm doing a "Which collection do you prefer?" poll. I'll have two compilations of songs that are related in some way, and you choose which one you'd prefer. Hopefully this kind of poll might be a chance of pace from the "Which album is your favorite?" polls. Here goes:
The Kid Collection:
1) Penny Lane 2) Getting Better 3) Lovely Rita 4) When I'm 64 5) Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite 6) Good Morning Good Morning 7) Strawberry Fields Forever 8) Octopus' Garden 9) Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds 10) Yellow Submarine
The Ballad Collection:
1) Yesterday 2) Let It Be 3) Michelle 4) Good Night 5) In My Life 6) Anna 7) The Long and Winding Road 8) Fool On The Hill 9) Here, There, and Everywhere 10) For No One

Because it has Strawberry Fields in it is why we're asking.
lol. Personally, I always thought of Sgt. Pepper as having somewhat of a child mentality (A Day In The Life being an exception). Lovely Rita, 64, Fixing A Hole, Mr. Kite... it just all seems very kiddish (but very, very good, mind you). Since PL and Strawberry Fields were intended to be put on there (As far as I know... that's correct, right?), I thought I'd add them in. PL definitely sounds like a kid tune (one I knew of while growing up... ahhh, Penny Lane).
Anyway, that was the mentality I had. Just think of it as "A Bunch of Songs Frightwolf picked out" if you disagree
I love them both, lots and lots, but the kid collection is better, when I am singing while I clean I prefer the less mellow songs. If the collections were made, I would buy them both.
I look from the wings at the play you are staging While my guitar gently weeps As I'm sitting here doing nothing but aging Still my guitar gently weeps
