I loved it when I heard it for the first time, but now I think Dogs and Pigs are too long. Wish and Meddle are my faves.

Piper at the Gates of Dawn sounds nothing like the Pink Floyd from The Wall and Dark Side. Just so you know in case you were thinking of buying that one next. The early Floyd is an aquired taste. IMHO.

It's during the Syd Barrett days and it's very different from later Floyd. The songs are poppy and experimental.
If you go to this site, you can listen a lot of their songs. There's a few from Piper. Bike's my favorite!

Bike is so weird its awesome.  Ive got a mouse who doesnt have a house, i don know why i call him gerald.  he's getting pretty old, but he's a good mouse!  how can anyone not love it?  anyways i'd recommend wish you were here and animals, then piper.

Anyway, what's REALLY cool is the Floyd's version of Syd's song Intersteller Overdrive on the POMPEII DVD!!!

yeah as soon as i wrote it i knew it was wrong, but i was too lazy to edit it.  I knew you'd get the drift.      By the way haven't seen you round moondogs lately, yet i watch the DVD all the time???  HMMM???

I can't even get in there anymore. I did try though! So how do you like the DVD? Was it worth the money?
