Has anyone seen the track that it might take? West Palm is SO close to being hit! I may not be on this board for 4 weeks should it take a more southernly track.

Really sorry...it's got to be pretty unnerving to watch this monster come at you for a week before it hits...tho it DOES give one time to prepare.  It will be hairy, but ultimately I think most people will come out of this alright.  The heaviest damage usually seems to be confined to smaller areas, tho the flooding from the rain will likely be widespread.

thank god for meteorology.  If there was no warnings, dear God.  And yet you alwaze hear about some morons who dont leave.

I've been putting up shutteres with my dad lately, so this is some free time I'm getting.  The first band's coming in soon, too.  AND I'm getting a sore throat (foreshadowing the common cold, something that's going around West Palm as we speak right now).  Grr, oh well.  That gives me more reason to try to sleep through the worst parts of this.

The thing's bigger than freakin' Florida! However, should the hurricane maintain course, West Palm would, once again, dodge the bullet, and I'm really hoping for that. 

School was cancelled yesterday and today.  Now that I got what I wanted, I'm hoping Frances disappears  .  Or at least maintains course.  I know that sounds mean, but since SOME PART of the U.S. will be affected, it only stands to reason for me to hope my area won't be that one.

And just to be a lil Beatles related, I bought the Beatles Anthology DVD on Amazon and got it on Wednesday.  I'm trying to watch it all during my free time (Already done with parts 1-5) before the power potentially goes out.  So far so good.

Saw a funny headline in our paper, where they misspelled Frances.  it read "France pushes ashore in Florida, prepares to invade mainland.  Devastation in wake."

Yikes didnt know they hated us that much!
