Just curious, did anyone see the television pragram on PBS called John Lennon's jukebox?  It was to have aired on 9-8-04, I think. So if anybody saw it, was it good and what was it about?

in Britain we had a programme called the same thing. In the 1965 tour of amarica John Lennon had his own mini portable Juke Box with him which had on songs that he listened to. The songs were mainly R&B an Soul hits or a few things by The Lovin Spoonful, Donaven and Dylan. The programme in Britain was about each of these songs, an how they influenced Lennon an the Beatles.

I saw parts of it when they showed it on Norwegian TV last Friday after midnight. I didn't think it was too great - a few snippets of Lennon interviews, and then lots of artist talking about other artists. I turned it off and went to bed.

Could anybody tell me if I missed something extraordinary exciting?

You can have my love, you can have my smiles. Forget the bad parts, you don't need them. Just take the music, the goodness, because it's the very best, and it's the part I give most willingly.
