I disagree. I think the Who are one of the greats. I think they're pretty equal to those other bands. Except for the Beatles. No one's as good as the Beatles.

THE WHO ARE WAY BETTER THAN LED ZEPPELIN...Sandras right, The Who are underrated nowadays, they didnt steal other peoples lyrics and claim it theirs....

I think the lyrics of Stairway to Heaven are kinda, well, not so great. I think there are so many better Zeppelin songs i don't know why everyone gravitates towards that one. But then I used to love it myself. Probably listened to it to much and now that's why I can't anymore.


BTW, I'm not trying to annoy Zep fans. I think they are a great band. One of the best. I just think they're given more credit than's neccessary.

we should have like a led zep vs. who song vs. song game or something because the who and led zeppelin debate seems to be very hot.

i could listen to stairway to heaven everyday for the rest of my days without being bored by it...it's pure genius IMO...people think it's annoying cause it's overplayed on the radio and stuff... the who are great too, but i like zepp wayy more...just a preference...

I would have said the exact same thing when I was 14. I was obsessed with them. I had the biggest poster you can possibly imagine of them on my wall. (Among others) I listened to them hours upon hours. I even forced my parents to listen to them! But things change I guess. I still like them, just not as much. They do seem to have a way of effecting people.

well when i was 14 i listened to beatles, the pink floyd, led zeppelin and all...and guess what...i still listen to those bands today...it's all about preference...led zeppelin are the best, so are the beatles and the pink floyd...it's all about preference...
Led Zeppelin are equal to the doors, cream, the floyd and all...rock history made it that way...you just have to pick one you like more...we could debate about this in 30 pages...its a question about preference...but stairway does not suck/have bad lyrics/boring cause it's one of the best ever...but i do think its overplayed though..

Dude, I was just saying how much I used to like them. I didn't say they sucked. And I just personally think the lyrics to Stairway are a little weak. I STILL listen to Zeppelin, just not as much. I think people in general are more obsessive about bands when they're teenagers. I used to listen to all those bands you said and more and STILL do. I just don't have shrines of them in my room anymore. That was my point. I'm really not anti-Zeppelin. I think they're one of the greats for sure. I just can't listent to Stairway to Heaven anymore. Actually, The Song Remains the Same was on the other day and I DID listen to it. And I wasn't annoyed. So maybe enough time went by for me to appreaciate it again. I love so many other Zeppelin songs better though. Anytime I post lately it's like people think I'm a jerk or something. I'm really just posting my opinions. I'm not saying you suck cuz you like so and so. I just put forth reasons why I may think another band is better. If I'm doing it in a rude way sorry.
