Hmm, I remember seeing a Mentors episode with him. I'm pretty sure it just, uh, happened. he was hearing ringing in his ears before he went deaf. That's all I remember.

The above link might help answer questions about Beethoven's deafness.

John: You're just a lonely old man from Liverpool.
Grandfather: But I'm clean!
John: Are ya?

Beethoven lost his hearing in the loudest record-breaking clap of flatulence (he WAS German you know) ever recorded in earth's history.

It was a mighty performance in all aspects, and the echoes inspired the War of 1812 Overture many years later.

I had an ear infection once... It hurts BADLY!

I can only imagine how badly it would hurt if I didn't take any medication for it.

I've had ear infections many times. But it was all good cause I got to take medicine that tasted like bubble gum.

Then there's no reason to respond. Please don't answer this to every question on this board you don't know the answer to. Thank you.

I'll remember that.

A little note about posting. This is not text messaging, so can you try not to use abbreviations like 'ur', and 'u'. It does make things difficult to read. Thanks.
