Has anyone ever heard the album by the Langley Schools music project. In the early seventies some bloke recorded a school choir singing the pop hits of the day. The instuments that backed it were minimul just a acoustic guitar a drum an some simbols, an other school choir instruments like triangles an that. They sang songs such as The Long an Winding Road, Band On The Run, God Only Knows, Your So Good To Me and a bunch o other classics. The recording can sound a little creepy but on the beach boys songs especially they sound really angelic an haunting. there some of my favourate covers of beach boys an beatles records. David Bowie also says the langley schools version of space oddity is his favourate cover of one of his records.
