maybe a rehearsal with gear that was already at the theatre?

^Yep, they look very real to me to say they were not them ... obviously those instruments are not theirs ... a rehearsal? could be ... but why those instruments? ... a no-planned one? ... anyway, Paul seems to laugh at some George comment in the first pic ... so some public must be there, not? ... I'm amazed, I admit!   ...

Yes, as far as I'm aware this is the ONLY pic of John and Paul together in the Seventies (1974?)

yeah thats from los angeles....the toot and snore sessions is where this was took....
john and some others were sharing a house...i think ringo lived there at one time too...it was john may pang days...you can see how relaxed he is without yugio....he even seemed to enjoy being out of control....

is that a 65 stratacaster george has?????also notice that paul has the bass flipped upside down...the pick guards up top...the other two are hollow fenders or gibson??no way its a gretch....

Looks like there was another photographer there too - John is holding a Polaroid.

that could be the same thing that took the other one that john is holding...and thats why there aren't more photos...remember poles were odd shapes back when....

and there were only 6 photos i think in a pack???
