Re the two bottom pics posted by Alexis on October 28 at 2.27. The photographs were taken by Dick Matthews in the Huyton house of the mother of Sam Leach's girlfriend Joan on 17 March 1962. Joan is seen here with George, John, Rory Storm and Pete. The girl above Joan is Maureen. In the other photo the man on the left is gordon brown (not the British PM!) who married Joan's syster Vera, who is also seen in the picture. Sam went on to marry Joan.

Paul is holding Rory Storm's foot in the lower picture. Rory was reported to be too drunk to stand up, but he insisted to be in the picture. So there's his foot.

It's nice how well the illustrator caught their personalities.  With the exception of maybe John (unless he just drank a bottle of sherry) or Ringo (who looks a little pissed off at being bald).

Hey guys, I know I haven't been around for a while, sorry...I was wondering, has anyone seen pictures of the lads painting? I saw a bunch of really lovely ones at the Whitney Museum's Summer of Love exhibit this summer that had this sort of glow to them...anyone know what I'm talking about?
