one of the many great things about the beatles is that one minute they could write a far out trippy song like lucy in te sky but then they could write a universal one like all you need is love. i find i can relate the most to good morning good morning and in my life. but then again everyone can relate to in my life or at least they think they can.
You're so vain, you probably think this post is about you.
A Day in the Life - When Im on the train going to University, I just look at everyones face, and the mood of the dark mornings, and when listening to A Day in the Life..it seems just to click*
Every Beatles song has its moment, at least, in my life. It depends on how I feel, sometimes I feel like listening to psychedelic songs, such as Tomorrow never knows or she said she said. Other days I go for love songs, but I can relate to almos every song.
This is the Beatles "soundtrack to my life" as of right now:
Yesterday For No One And I Love Her Baby's In Black (underrated song? i love it) Carry That Weight Don't Pass Me By Long, Long, Long (BEST harrison song, next to while my guitar gently weeps, of course) Oh! Darling (notice any pattern here?) Sexy Sadie She's Leaving Home The Long and Winding Road Ticket To Ride Yer Blues
I've been going through some personal problems lately, and these are the songs that I can relate to.
If I were feckin' nuts, I'd say that these songs were really written for me
