It would be "Baby You Can Drive My Car" because it was one of the hardest Beatle songs to record! There was a interview with Paul where he said this was the hardest song to record of all the beatle's songs!

Drive My Car is the best Macca track. Along with What Goes On, I think Michelle is the worst on the LP.

It's weird to think that the original concept of this album was to be a comedy LP - Michelle was a drunken party-piece of Paul's complete with faux French lyrics (until real French lyrics were added in 1965) and Drive My Car and Norwegian Wood both delivered comic punch-lines!

'Drive My Car'? Are you serious Al? That song is so dumb, even a Paul fanboy like myself cant accept it. Along with 'What Goes On', 'Drive My Car' is easily my most hated track on the album.

Dont you just love conflict?

I voted for Drive My car. It's clever and original. But it's a tough call - Macca is at his prime on this album and they are all great. I too used to despise Michelle. But thinking back I didn't have a copy of RS and I only heard it in isolation on the radio,
Now that I've got vinyl again I really like it. It fits in well with the mood of the album (upbeat, a bit tongue in cheek. You can definately feel the comedy thing Al mentioned). And it's a nice little closer for side 1. (throw away your CD's NOW)

Ban him, Al!

Drive My Car is one of the catchiest songs on the album with a great guitar solo and funny lyrics.  It gets my vote for one of the best on the album

And Al, it was going to be a comedy album? Where did you get this information from?

Had another good listen last night. Even George manages two decent songs. What Goes On fits the mood of the album well (it sounds like they're having a lot of fun. God bless grass).
the only song I would kick off would be Wait - its dull and serious, and sounds more '64 than '65.
I don't know whether it's auto-suggestion, but I can really hear that comedy thing running through the album. A lot of the songs are very tongue-in-cheek. Superb. I am so in love with this album again.
I played Help! straight after, and the difference in the backing vocals really hit me. They are really much more imaginative (or stoned) on RS

I know The Beatles didn't care much for Wait either, but somehow I have always liked it. To me, the weakest song is Run For Your Life.
