I guess I am just tired of yesterday, it was a great song when I first heard it, just him and the guitar, the confidence and the plain beautiful simplicity of it all, but after the first 5 times, it got repetitive. The lyrics are pretty much the same, and it just seems to go in circles for me. I get dizzy after a while when I go in circles. Dizzy and tired.

I guess I never really got so attached to 'Yesterday' as much as some have. At the time of its release it marked a big step forward for the group, crossing them over into the MOR market big-time (hence covers by every lounge lizard and greasy balladeer in the known universe). For that we were proud of them, but I still wanted more rockers.
It's a fine song, for sure, but I voted 'I've Just Seen A Face' - fun energy and a catchy tune.
'...In the name of Preverti, daughter of the mountains, whose embrace with Rani made the whole world tremble...'
Well, Yesterday is obviously a beautiful love song. My favorite Paul song on that album though is The Night Before. I love to sing along to that one. I really like his voice in this one too.
I voted for Yesterday, because it is like the song Paul has become known for. But if that wasn't on the list I would probably pick I've Just Seen a Face or Tell Me What You See.
