What would he be singing about? Do you think he would be singing about the situation in Iraq, etc or would he be focusing on something different? What would he think about Dubya? Give your opinions. |

Yeah he might have been outspoken on the Iraq War probably much more than Paul is right now. John Lennon and John Kerry go back to anti war rallies in the 70's so John probably would have supported him for president in this years election. Personally my vote went for Kerry in 2004 regardless if John would have supported him or not. |

Very actively left-wing, and probably would be the liberal symbol, rather than Michael Moore, who currently is. |

I'm not sure if he would be writing songs directly about the war or not. He might, he might not. In a sense, I think he would probably be more abstract about such things if he was older, not because I think that is the "better" and more "politically correct" thing, but because I think he wouldn't want to seem like he was still repeating his style of years ago...he was so innovative and was always trying to do something new and frech. Maybe he would be collaborating with various artists and creating all kinds of songs protesting the war and the current situation, or maybe he'd write songs about getting older and learning how to deal with it, etc. You never know with John.
Anyway, all this is speculative. I'm just sure whatever he would be doing, it would be fabulous. |

He shouldnt need to write a song. You can use HAPPY XMAS(WAR IS OVER!) Every year over. Since Lennon died: Iraq, Isreal and Palestina twice, America, Afghanistan, Iraq again; what/who will be next?? WAR IS OVER IF YOU WANT IT! |

I think he would have come out strong post 9/11, and made a few strong statements about the war in Iraq, but for the most part would have been a recluse. I'm sure Yoko would have been history. |

Like Imagine, (Happy Christmas) War Is Over might always have that resonance. |

Actually, between the tortured soul that he was and the horrendous way he took care of himself, I don't think he'd have lived to see 65. I know. Keith is a cockroach, but they're two completely different people. |
