I was reading a review of the new Capitol box set, and the guy said "There's no fat on this one, unless you count McCartney's treaclely Till There Was You from The Music Man, but then I'm not a 14-year-old girl from 1964"

Now, I am a teenager, but I think it's a really good cover! Not treacely at all! Surely there are people older than me who agree?

You're so vain, you probably think this post is about you.

Till There Was You is one of my favourite songs.
Mccartney's voice is amazing, and Instrument-wise..its spot on..with great Guitar work from George. The Live Version is ridiculous.
I just love the songs they choose to cover..very different..yet great!

Whats the matter lads? Blue Meanies?

He knew how to play solos quite early, it seems!

I was an 18 year old young man in 1964.  I did not want to hear Paul singing Til There Was You.  I wanted to hear John Lennon screaming his guts out on You Can't Do That.
