I don't believe it, not a single nomination for Jet on there, and not just the ones you hear on the radio, I mean the real good stuff that no one plays on the radio.

Velvet Revolver and Green Day are the only bands that I like from the nominations. I hope they win their respective awards

Just curious, how big are Jet in the US? Obviously they are huge here in Australia and we hear they are doing well OS but would love to know.

Since not into most categories listed, only ones I am going for are green Day, except when they are up against Franz Ferdinand for best rock song. (Personally, my choice for THE song of 2004).  Would love to see Brian Wilson win but haven;t actually bought *Smile* yet!  And though I don;t like dance am going for another Aussie, Kylie Minogue for best dance recoding.  Otherwise I really don;t care!

I like Green Day and No Doubt. And even though I don't like Joss Stone's music I think she is an amazing singer.

I think its pretty funny how Green Day have been labeled the most politically charged and daring band, considering their music is pretty basic..and its all a tad cliche.
Fashionable politics for the 10 year old Skaters of the world...

Whats the matter lads? Blue Meanies?

I wouldn't say their music is totally cliche, it's just that (IMO) all these bands like Good Charlotte, Blink-182 and Simple Plan came out and they tried to copy them so that's why they sound a bit stale

I hope Paul & Clapton win a Grammy for their version of Something on the Concert For George while Brian Wilson finally wins a Grammy for Smile since the Beach Boys never won one after all these years!

The Beatles never won that many either, I mean they won some but not as much as they deserved. I don't even like the Grammys anyways. All the awards are given to people you never hear from again *cough*Lauryn Hill*cough*

Oh yeah, and I hate Norah Jones and her crappy elevator music!

I know, but I still think she sucks. Kids of famous people get record deals just cause of their daddies. Kelly Osbourne too.
