But it's called India, India. So that means it isn't the same, now is it? |

'Officially' new then smart arse.
That means that somewhere down the line this version wasn't involved with the d!ck who broke into the dakota and nicked a load of tapes from John's study in the mid-eighties. |

I have heard the song India and I dont like it too much. It's ruined by a high tempoed drum machine. On the other hand I Dont Want To Lose You is great. It's also known as Now and Then. The version I heard consists of John singing at a piano trying complete the arrangment and lyrics. The tape was a little hissy at times but the sound quality isn't to bad as prevoiusly reported. |

India is not new 8. India (Lennon) 3:04 John Lennon Forsaken by the " Lost Lennon Tapes" radio series, India makes its world premiere on this collection. Featuring an unheard set of lyrics atop a polished guitar backing, the melody marries an upbeat version of Tennessee with the chorus of Serve Yourself. Talk about potential!

[...] It's great to know that there are still around 30 unreleased John songs left. Whoopee!
There are much more than 30 demo songs and improptus and they're going to be released with the time, according to an interview to Mrs. Ono two months ago. |

released with the time?
Just get Julian and Sean and Paul and Ringo and Eric and whoever else to work on them, Bob Marley's estate has done something along the lines of FAAB and RL with an unreleased demo, Slogans. |
