I think that the board needs to get cleaned up. There have been way to many Mods leave or just are NEVER around that don't need to be Mods. I think other people need to be appointed because topics are getting messy. there are some folders that could be merged. It may be ok for people who have been here awhile but I invited like 5 people to the boards and 3 of them said that it was messy and they had to read too many of the same threads.

Hiya!

I think the moderators here take a "hands off" approach, which has generally been appreciated by people in the past.

Personally speaking, the only action I ever take is if people email me about a certain topic or spam the board or post abnoxious threads. Also, if someone contacts me about people PMing or being a total nuisance, I usually report their posts to Dmitry and he takes the necessary action.

If the general concensus is for a more "hands on" approach, I will of course oblige

What does everyone else think?

Baically just things in the wrong catagories. Threads that get made over and over again when they could just revise an old thread. Stuff like that.

I didn't say the Mods were doing a bad job... I do not see a reason for people to be a Mod when they are never around though.

I may not post but I do check the boards I'm a mod for. I've received pms regarding spam and obnoxious posts on my boards and I've gone through and deleted a good portion of the crap.

With regards to moderating..I can only say if I could do better than I would offer my services....hence I hav'nt. lol
