what do u guys think of this song? i really like it, it's so sweet. the lyrics are well written yet simple, and i absolutely love how john & paul harmonize.

It's a good song, it just doesn't DO it for me.  But definitely in the top half of the LIB album -- the harmonies are really good

Tis a beautiful a song. I will be gigging it tonight...I got a personal theory that Macca used his 'You and I....' bit as basis for 'What Ever Happenned to...' bit on 'Free As A Bird'
'Two of Us' for me, is like a recognition to their simple beautiful songwriting that they once shared TOGETHER. It also has great sadness and acknowledgement of their imminent parting. Love the Elvis impersonation on the LIB film aswell.

Newbie here. Though overshadowed by a lot of their wondrous hits, this is easily a classic Beatle track. It's the Beatles doing Everly Brothers. The song really fits in the "Get Back" concept they had at that time.

Yeah. Paul says it's about him and Linda -- I can see a little bit of that, but it totally sounds like Paul and John.

:O I heard about something where John ad-libs "Two of us wearing makeup..." somewhere. Don't remember what from, though, lol.

Two Of Us is a great song which is highly underrated but it showcses the Beatles at their finest.

Really.  ''memories longer than the road...''   heck, he only knew Linda a couple of years.

Of course, "that stretches out ahead..." COULD be indicating he and Linda being ready to create all these memories.

It's a cool song, but I wouldn't read too much into it lyrically. Paul's said that he liked playing with words that went well together. Maybe this is one of them
