I voted both John and Paul.  For pure aesthics, I vote Paul.  He has a very pure and angelic voice that can be very soulful if it wants to be (just listen to Let it Be).  John, on the other hand, has a voice that fills your ears, pokes at your brain, runs down your spine and hits you in the heart.

Together, the voices had the perfect blend, the devil and the angel on your shoulders, making you confused on where you stand and totally take over your whole being.

I can't vote on this...I like singing the Macca lines in the Apple Beatles band but Lennon has got some belters aswell that I get quite envious about not singing.....Overall maybe Macca....it tends to sway.

You're in the band "Apple?!"

A man on a flaming pie said you are now the Beatles with an A and you are. "Thank you Mister Man," said the boys.

i voted george.

paul i think has the nicest sounding voice, & john has a very soulful voice. i also think paul probably had the most skill at using his voice. but in the end, i gotta give to to george because i love the sound of his the best

^Yeah...Amongst the other bands I do. Lenny Pane(Also on this forum) n I started doing a Lennon/McCartney thing in the pubs and it grew from there. I can't say how much of a rush it is when we perform them in public. No false wigs, Big projection screen, we all pick our fave era of Beatle to represent and then just vibe off. Theres a bit of soul to our thing. We dwell more on the later stuff, although we do a load of earlier material aswell.

REVIEW

George - George's vocals were solid and better than most punk singers today. He could pull of some great ones, but never exploited his ability.

Ringo - I don't know, but he did an awesome vocal solo in A Day In The Life! ... Joking. Ringo's vocals were deep, but funny.

Paul - Paul had a very open voice. When the Beatles harmonize, Paul's voice is the one you hear. He could also sing ballads or heavy metal. Paul rocks.

John - John was the best. He could pull of amazing vocals (Bad Boy, and I do believe he sings the vocal solo in A Day In The Life, even if The End doesn't agree). John rocks!

John and Paul's voices are the best.

They're really similar. John has a great low voice and can reach high pitches with big harmony... Paul's can steer to various sides - he can have a low voice as greatly as he can have a high voice.

The pitches in both voices are similar and that's why I find it a bit hard to choose.

There's a bit of a nasal condition in John's voice and this adapts perfectly to some songs, but Paul has a great way of combining his voice to the melody of the song.

So I rest my case saying they're pretty similar and hard to choose a better one.

And also some credit to George Harrison and Ringo Starr, who just don't get a spotlight for their voice because they rarely sing, but when they do they also come out with a great pitch.

I voted for John.  There's an edge in his voice that is totally captivating and works well with rockers as well as with the slower pop tunes.

Paul has the most technically superior voice in that he has a wider range of notes that he can sing.  His high harmonies are magnificent, and he can rock with the best of them. He can also do the old music hall stuff like Your Mother Should Know.
His Little Richard voice blows me away.

Paul says in some interview that John's voice is sharp, where his is round.  And he's right.  Try to mimic John's singing and your voice will be making staccato-like sounds, very crisp.  Then mimic Paul--your voice softens considerably.

George has a great voice too.  Unlike J&P, when George sings, you can really hear his Scouse accent and nasality--he's not trying so hard to sound American.  His harmonies are gorgeous and add depth to the songs.

Ringo's vocals are cute.

I voted George because I knew the majority would vote for Paul or John.
I now realise I should have voted for Ringo.
