Really?  Neither John nor George were some kind of asaint that I would try and follow.

You obviously do not remember 1969-1971.  The bitterest arguments, and in public, came from John.

Going back and forth like this is interesting (for a while at least). People should know that Mr Charlie has made a huge habit of this sort of abuse on rmb for quite a long while. (Assuming that the Mr C here is the same as the original mister charlie on rmb.) He sees himself as a paragon of common sense, and takes it on himself to castigate and rouse on those he takes exception to. Several people give it right back to him, as they find his attempts at bullying and haranging tedious and often offensive.
