I'm sure it would be nice as tone goes Indy. I've never checked any official notation on this but I launch from D (5th fret) on the A string. That way I get a nice slide up to the F on the G string. Your way sounds tidier though and keeps the fingers in the same place. Horses for courses. Whatever feels comfortable.  |

I gotta agree with that list. I like the bass on Paperback Writer and Michelle. I don't know much about bass...but Paul's basswork is fab.  |
