I really like it Andy ,i was never a big fan of her Texas stuff , although i liked her voice . This album really shows off that voice , some lovely songs . One of the best albums i've heard from a women in a while .
yeah, i was never a fan of the Texas stuff either but i always like Sharleen as a person & singer. i heard her do a song from the album on tv last week & she was pretty darn good! that's my next purchase!
It's been a Hard Days Night & i've been working like a dog!

I only have "White On Blonde" by Texas Andy which is a good pop album , but i always thought most of their stuff was way to polished production wise . Sharleen's great voice seemed to get lost in the production. Which was a pity as she really can sing very well , i saw her on Jules Holland around the time of White On Blonde and she sang "Put Your Arms Around Me" with just him on the piano and it was an electrifying performance . I think she's pulled something really special out of the bag with this album , she's written or co-written all the songs and as also co- produced the album. The single "All The Times I Cried " makes Amy Winehouse and Duffy sound like a couple of wannabe's ,Sharleen's 40 year old voice is far superior to either of them on this album. I give this album 9 out of 10 , and maybe even album of the year .
"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."
"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."
"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD
