Your welcome Jane , i think Duffy sounds hell of a lot like Lulu . A lot of those great 60's singers were pushed into dreadful light entertainment shows and there great voices were utterly wasted .
And for that The Beatles can probably take the blame. They made acts that didn't write their own material very uncool, so if you couldn't compose it was off to Eurovision.

True Kevin . On this Lulu cd i got the other day , Lulu doe's a great version of "Good Day Sunshine" , Jerry Wexler the producer as slowed it right down and completely changed the arrangement with a more funky brass section, it's a realy good cover version and suits Lulu's voice brilliantly . I don't care what anyone says Kevin , with the right producer and material Lulu as one of the best vocies and she did record a great album in "New Routes " she sings her socks off
Please, tell me if it is worth buying Sandy Shaw`s the best? She also belongs to the 60s and was one of the British favourites. She sang barefoot - that was her chip (a distinguishing feature) - and went to Eurovision contest, where she won for Britain. Was it the last time the British got the Eurovision award? I am asking cause I know only her Puppet On a String. And she was very pretty!
"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."
"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."
"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD
