Definately Paul... even post-Beatles he was great... John is amazing but Paul's music was always spectacular, if you think about it... They both had their "duds", but I always felt that Paul's duds were somewhat better...

Well, that's a toughy there.  Paul had beautiful melodies that brought tears to your eyes.  John's lyrics, however, were more poetic than anyone else.  That's why they made such a great team, I guess.  

I chose John, though because his lyrics far surpass Paul's and he has some pretty good tunes as well.
