Colleen has deleted herself from DM's for good.  She has grown very sick of the fighting, and especially of being harassed with complaining PM's from "junior" about me.  Well, the little hall monitor can now dance around in delighted circles, for I am joining her.  

She also got very tired of all the fighting, of being put in the middle as if she controlled me or something.  She is not me nor I her, and she was being held accountable for my words.  Not cool.  This was not the forum she signed up for two years ago.  She leaves with -very- little regret, as do I.

I wish to make clear that in -no- way possible does this mean the the trolls, complainers, liars and idiots have won anything.  I am leaving because I CHOOSE to...because this truly isn't DM's anymore.  I spent nearly a year scrupulously avoiding fights in here because it was a good place with good people.  Then Wayne started in.  The beginning of the end, people.  By the time you allow a Wayne and a Ydoll to do and say what they wish without resistance, well, you get what you've got.  Apparently that is your choice.  Barrabas or Jesus?

Sad to say (and not at all egotistical) but by the two of us leaving you're actually losing two of the best people that were here, not the worst.  

There are two sneaky regulars here and they both know who they are (so do I). Log reports don't lie.  Nice try, fellas.

There were a few good folks here, of course.

Erin is great with child and will be very busy very soon, God bless her and best of luck.  Watch them hormones, Ed!.

Despite some trying to paint this place as a paradise before I returned the fact is every other post was from or about DIRK.  And it wasn't pretty.  It's the only reason I even came back, to see if I could help.  

Believe it or not, there are *hundreds of thousands* of other Beatle forums online, many far better than this.  So don't think this place really matters all that much.  Tho I do thank Dmitry for the invite and being a gracious host.

Just an FYI for those of you playing at home. Last week I posted a message which just expressed my disbelief to Charlie that he of all people would post about the horrible state of this site when, if you add it up, he had the majority of the insulting, condescending posts. Colleen posted that my post was unprovoked and that they are friends, that he is not a jerk, just very opinionated. Being opinionated is one thing, hurling venom and insults is another.  I took a few of his posts, aimed at others, not me, and sent them to her saying that they were totally unprovoked and were malicious. Charlie needs a scapegoat, self-righteous hypocrites typically do, and I am apparantly it. I didn't go running to mommy as he made it sound, but I felt that there was a double-standard going on, and I addressed it. Pure and simple. If anyone feels the slightest bit bad for "Jesus" as he compared himself to, don't worry, he will find plenty of forums to spew his vitriol and he won't last long there either. Hopefully now we can express our different opinions and offer our thoughts about Beatle-related things rather than having to be set straight by the Almighty.

Lately it seems that fighting/leaving the forums is a fad.
I think the whole situation sucks, it's always sad to lose long time members like Colleen and Chuck but I guess there's nothing we can do about it

Colleen left??? Thats horrible! I think it sucks that we just cannot get along. Who cares who complains the most, or insults the most, its just a Beatles forum, and the fact that anyone here is left is amazing with all the bitching and bickering thats been going on. I mean seriously. I use to try to start crap jsut to make things interesting, its just not that interesting anymore. I don't know who the stupid Ydoll person is, but I'm sure there about as much of an annoyance as Wayne and Dirk were. But we'll get over it. I hate to see people leave over fighting, but I've done it a few times myself.

This sucks... This'll make the board a whole lot less fun...

Totally agree. It's been a right fiasco round here the last couple of months.
I mean, I have a friend who was interested in posting on the forum but now has to go through all the rigmarole of getting approved...All because of a few. I came onto this place to enjoy peoples views, knowledge and thoughts ojn the Beatles aswell as chatting with people from all round the world.....This I intend to do, with or without the instigators. Theres plenty folk on here who are sound and easy to get on and disagree with, without the malice. Power to the people!!! lol

I am none too proud of all the crap that went down earlier. I didn't enjoy being provoked by Charlie, and I let him know it.
