Hi all,

For anyone living in NY or planning to be there in late April, thought you might like to check this link out.  It's a huge Beatles Fest they have every year and Billy Preston will even be there.  They have a huge lineup of people that have worked closely with the Beatles over the past 40 years.  Photographers, musicians, authors, friends, etc..

I've been to a zillion Beatlefests in Chicago, but the New York convention is really one I've always wanted to check out. I think its still held close by in NJ, but to combine New York and a Fest would be awesome. You'll have a blast.

bloody hell .. it seems that there are more Beatle fests in the states than there is in the UK . no offence.. but it was the people from the states that were burning all the records lol .. IMO i think they should have more in the UK as the boys came from here.. /sigh

LOL! I used to live on the Isle of Long and it ain't that far from Jersey. Just plug your nose as you drive through.

My brother used to live on Staten Island. So yeah, I'm familiar with that lovely odor. Don't the garbage barges leave from around there?

Oyster Bay is a cute old town. I liked it there. Port Jeff is another cute town by the water. That was closer to where I lived.

my uncle has a huge mansion on the tip of suffolk county. forgot what the town is called.

it sure beats my apartment, but i love my apartment in queens so i ain't jealous.

Montauk, Amagansett? I don't know. That's the only place I know on the tip of Long Island. Besides the Hamptons. Which come right before those places. I don't know the other tip at all. I always thought Long Island looked like a fish. It was easy to draw.

I thought that was Italy. I don't know anything about the southern states. Other than I know I don't want to ever live there! Although my brother is moving to Georgia. But we were never close...
