I can't come up with times, but let's assume for all intents and purposes that if we were to add this single onto this album, we'd have to get rid of two songs on Rubber soul.  Here's the track listing:

Sorry to break your rule, but I'm going for a middle course, with fifteen tracks.

First I boot Michelle to kingdom come. Replace it with We Can Work It Out - it goes nicely after The Word.

Side 2 starts with Day Tripper, cos it sounds to me like a great side-opening track. Then follows What Goes On, Girl etc as on the proper album.

Get Rid of Michelle and Run For Your Life.  Stick We can work it out after You Wont See Me.

I still think its a good song for the time.
The Bass line is great, and it does suit Rubber Soul, as an overall Album.

Yes, yes, great bass line - but that doesn't make a good song. The thing is, it DOESN'T suit Rubber Soul - its trite lyrics don't fit the sophistication shown in MOST other RS tracks.
